Sales & Marketing Manager


Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual sales budget planning process for the Saskatoon division
  • Regularly visit active subdivisions and communicate daily with sales consultants to maintain onsite support and sales tracking/strategies.
  • Provide guidance to sales staff through effective hiring, training, performance evaluations, work allocation and problem solving
  • Responsible for leading engaging and motivational weekly sales meetings; utilize company agenda.
  • Responsible to negotiate all sales, extensions and cancellations.
  • Research consumer preferences, products, pricing, economic, industry marketing trends and attend industry conferences as necessary to stay abreast of current trend, methods and materials and make recommendations for implementation.
  • Research and understand financing to effectively and creatively align marketing initiatives with first time/move up buyer’s needs.
  • Oversee the direction and ongoing development of the websites via consumer interaction, traffic optimization, social media, regular testing and research.
  • Oversee the production of all advertising campaigns.


Requirements

  • 8+ years in a sales leadership role.
  • Ability to be on call evenings and weekends.
  • Experience in the new home industry is a strong asset though not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience and confidence in negotiations.
  • Ability to respond effectively to changing demands and be adaptable to new challenges.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem solving
