Built Green

A better way to live starts with a better-built home.

At Daytona Homes, we bring together design and construction to create homes that are thoughtfully built and designed to perform.
We understand that a home shapes how people live every day. It should feel comfortable, consistent, and easy to maintain. It should also be built with care for the families who live in it and for the planet, both today and in the years ahead. The materials we use and how the home performs all contribute to that.
For that reason, our focus extends beyond the initial construction of the home to how it performs day to day, how it holds up over time, and how it supports the families who live in it while helping build a better tomorrow.

OUR APPROACH

A better way to build

Every home we build is shaped by a shared objective: to create homes that are comfortable to live in, perform consistently over time, and support the people who call them home.

This comes from a clear and consistent approach, with a focus on quality, accountability, and how each home comes together from the start.

We believe this is the right way to build. It’s what allows us to deliver homes that feelbetter to live in and continue to support families over time.

WHAT WE STAND FOR

Built around what matters most

Building homes that support the wellbeing of the families who live in them, while contributing to stronger communities and a more responsible future, has always been part of how we approach our work at Daytona Homes.

It’s built into how we think and reflected in how we build.

A well-built home maintains comfortable indoor temperatures year-round, supports healthier indoor air through appropriate ventilation and material choices and operates efficiently to help manage energy use and long-term costs.

Beyond building code minimums, we incorporate improved insulation, tighter building envelopes, and systems designed to work together. These elements contribute to higher performance and durability - reducing variability over time.

Material selection, energy performance, and durability are considered together to improve overall efficiency and reduce environmental impact, recognizing the way a home is built influences its contribution to the broader community.

Independently verified performance

Every Daytona home is independently verified through the BUILT GREEN® program, a recognized standard that evaluates energy efficiency, indoor air quality, materials, and overall performance.

This certification reflects a more comprehensive approach to building, where each element of the home is considered as part of a larger system. Ventilation, insulation, and material selection all contribute to how the home performs and how it feels to live in.

For homeowners, this results in a more consistent indoor environment, improved air quality, and greater energy efficiency, along with the benefit of reduced operating costs over time.

Homes that meet BUILT GREEN® standards may also qualify for mortgage insurance rebates, providing an additional financial benefit that reflects the long-term performance of the home.

As part of this process, each home is tested and reviewed by a third party, providing measurable confirmation that it meets a higher standard and delivers on the expectations established during construction.

COMMUNITY VALUE

Building for what comes next

The homes we build play an important role in shaping the communities they become part of.

Performance, durability, and consistency influence how neighbourhoods evolve over time and contribute to their overall quality and stability. With a focus on responsible construction and long-term performance, Daytona Homes is committed to building in a way that supports not only today’s homeowners, but future generations as well.

This approach reflects a broader commitment to creating communities that continue to feel comfortable, functional, and well-suited to the people who live in them, both now and over time.
